NFL Draft Info - Green Bay Packers
Short overview of 2010 season
There were quite a few rough spots, but the season couldn't have turned out any better. This Green Bay Packers team overcame a plethora of key injuries, but had guys step up at every position, from Charlie Peprah at free safety to Desmond Bishop at inside linebacker.
The best thing is perhaps the Packers are in good position to be great for the foreseeable future. The team will add tight end Jermichael Finley and running back Ryan Grant, both of whom were on injured reserve, back to an offense that is one of the most formidable in the NFL and a relatively young defense is only going to get better.
List of notable UFA
Defensive end Cullen Jenkins, fullbacks John Kuhn and Korey Hall, receiver James Jones, guard Daryn Colledge, safety Charlie Peprah and kicker Mason Crosby are the key players. Jenkins is probably the No. 1 target, but he may be too pricey for the Packers to re-sign if he hits the open market.

It doesn't look like the Packers will have any restricted free agents, unless something strange happens with the new collective bargaining agreement.
Predictions and Team needs heading into the off season.
The Packers could use help on the offensive line. Bryan Bulaga and Josh Sitton are currently the only above-average starters. The team will also need another receiver if Jones is allowed to leave via free agency. The Packers also have to look at adding another outside linebacker who can rush the passer, especially if Jenkins departs.
I don't anticipate the Packers being very active in free agency. This team was built through the draft and there's no reason to believe that philosophy will change. The Packers will likely sign several of their own free agents and fill the rest of their needs through the draft.
The team also has a decision to make at inside linebacker, where they've given Desmond Bishop a contract extension. A.J. Hawk has a 2011 salary of $10 million, which he won't be paid. Nick Barnett, who's returning from injured reserve as well, has a salary over $6 million.
My guess is the Packers will renegotiate Hawk's deal at a lower number and get rid of Barnett.
Coach Mike McCarthy and GM Ted Thompson will also get contract extensions.
