The Fantasy Football Pick Up Artist - Week 16

NFL Football - Pick Up Artist

We have hit the final week of Fantasy Football and for the most part if you are in your League Championship you probably aren’t trolling the wire for week 16 pickups. It is possible though that you have Hakeem Nicks on your team and you’re worried about Revis Island this week or maybe your boy AJ Green is on your roster and you might need to find a last minute replacement for your starting lineup.  All League’s vary in roster size and number of teams so not all of these guys are available but if they are available in yours, they would be worthy of taking  a championship week spot start if you are hurting at a starting position.

Darrius Heyward- Bey- WR

Oakland is in a must win situation this week against Kansas City and Heyward-Bey could be a good replacement if it looks like AJ Green is out of the lineup this Saturday. DHB went off last week to the tune of 8 catches, 155 yards and a score.

Demaryius Thomas- WR

Tim Tebow has trouble hitting the most open of receivers it seems but he has developed chemistry with Demaryius Thomas over the last couple of weeks. He has turned in three solid games in a row and during that time he has accumulated 18 catches, 338 Yards and 3 TD’s. If you are in need for a wideout check your waiver wire for Tebow’s new favorite target.

Khalil Bell- RB

Brown stepped up in week 15 and stole Marion Barber’s thunder against the Seahawks taking down more offensive snaps and better overall production. He also was able to hold onto the football something that has been an issue for the Barbarian. Brown had 108 all-purpose yards last week plus 5 catches and a TD. The Bears have Green Bay in week 16 and if you play PPR he could give you RB2 production.

Donald Brown- RB

There is a changing of the guard in Indy and Brown has officially turned Joseph Addai into an afterthought.  Brown was having a solid game in week 15 and he put an exclamation point on his performance with a 4th quarter run that he broke for 80 yards and a TD. Brown racked up 160 yards on 16 carries and if you are in need for a running back spot start, Brown is your man. He plays the Texans this week and they are a good defense but Brown has scored in 3 of his last 4 games and is currently the hot hand in Colts land.

Kyle Orton- QB

The man was partially responsible for ending the Packers impressive win streak and this week the Chiefs play the Raiders. Orton is a QB2 for the match up and he could find success against the Raiders in this inter divisional game. Orton racked up 299 yards and a 104.1 passer rating against the champs in week 15 and he is a major upgrade over Palko and Stanzi.

Bengals Defense- DST

The Bengals are in a must win mode and they get a home game in the chill of Cincinnati. Their defense was solid last week but didn’t manage any of the good stuff, they held points off the board but were without sacks, turnovers, int’s etc. That could all change this week and the defense will be an inspired bunch in front of their home crowd against the we wish we were playing in Arizona Cardinals. John Skelton will be under center and he has been prone to the interception this season, he has thrown 10 picks in his last five games.
