Houston Texans 2010 Season Review

NFL Draft Info - Houston Texans

HOUSTON TEXANS OFFSEASON REPORT

OVERVIEW OF 2010

The Texans started 2010 with high expectations, but it wasn't long before a historically-awful pass defense and an inconsistent offense not only meant no playoffs, but turned the season into one of the worst in team history.  Houston decided to go young in the secondary, and they paid for it.  Kareem Jackson couldn't live up to his billing as “the most NFL-ready cornerback in the 2010 NFL Draft,” and Glover Quin regressed significantly from a very solid rookie year.  Strong safety Bernard Pollard's already suspect coverage skills got dramatically worse, and free safety Eugene Wilson went from below average to terrible.  Add to all of that a typically below-average Texans' pass rush, and you can see why the defense was so bad.

Miami Dolphins 2010 season review

The Miami Dolphins' 2010 season was the kind of disaster a parent would insist their child look away from.

Most Dolphins fans probably now wish they had shielded their eyes from Miami's 2010 season, too

Yes, the same fans who took Owner Stephen Ross' word as the gospel when he predicted the Dolphins would reach Super Bowl XLV; the same fans who thought blockbuster wideout acquisition Brandon Marshall could magically cure quarterback Chad Henne's idiocy; the same fans who were rooked by the once-beloved "Trifecta" of former Executive VP of Football Operations Bill Parcells, General Manager Jeff Ireland and Head Coach Tony Sparano into believing that the team's days of underachieving were long gone. In actuality, the losing ways and questionable decision-making that has plagued the Miami Dolphins during the last 15 years is still very much a current affair.

Wall of Champions 2010

NFL Football - League Champs List

Congratulations!

super bowl champ

At FantasyDaddy.com we realize that it's one thing to play Fantasy Football and it's another to win.  It is a special moment that you as the team Owner spend months, possibly years to achieve. I encourage you to pat yourself on the back and join the "Wall of Champions".  We are happy to have played a part in your Championship run and have created this "Wall of Champions" to celebrate our Fantasy Football community.

A symbol of your achievement is always a great way to let everyone know that you are the Fantasy Daddy (or Mama) of your league, with that said, I encourage you to purchase something to commemorate this event.  I realize that you are not able to have a video made with a commemorative book free with your purchase on the cover of sports illustrated, but a sweet tee shirt that you can wear to poker night to rub it in or wear to the gym to impress the ladies (or intimidate the guys) is a celebration it itself.

The Pick Up Artist - Week 17

Baseball - Pick Up Artist

Catcher  - Johnathan Lucroy (Brewers)

Lucroy has gone 7 for 17 (.412) with three RBI over his last four games. He has seven homers and 39 RBI with a 284 batting average on the year, which gives him plenty of Fantasy value. Lucroy has power potential hitting over 20 homers in one season while in minor leagues. Good as a backup catcher in standard mixed leagues and a starter in deeper. Owned in 38 percent of leagues.
